Combi Packaging Systems Introduces BCF Beverage Carrier Formers

03/04/2014

March 4, 2014   CANTON, Ohio  Since its earliest days, Combi Packaging Systems has been supplying the beverage industry with new and used quality packaging equipment.

"Recognizing that new packaging lines are being started up every day in the wine, beer and premium liquor markets, Combi is excited to introduce a complete secondary packaging line for bottles," announces Bill Mitchell, Director of Engineering.

Available as a stand alone machine or integrated into a complete bottle packing line, Combi now offers BCF Beverage Carrier Formers.  This new piece of equipment automates the process of opening and forming a folded stack of four, six or eight pack bottle carriers so they can be filled with bottles.  The unit can be integrated with a Combi tray or case erector, drop packer and tray or case packer to provide a full solution for the beverage industry.  Ideal for the craft beer market, the BCF provides small breweries with basic automation to improve efficiency that can be easily expanded to tray or case packing as their production increases.

Combi Packaging Systems LLC is a leading US manufacturer of end-of-line packaging equipment, with more than 35 years' service in case erectors, case sealers, case packers, tray formers, ergonomic hand packing stations, and case labelers.  Combi Packaging Systems LLC was formed as a joint venture between 3M and The MJ Maillis Group in 1999.
