Water Washdown Packing System

Combi constructs stainless steel washdown packaging equipment for the food, dairy, meat, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Corrosion resistant systems for harsh environments are also availbable. All Combi washdown systems are constructed to withstand regular water spray on all external components. The simple, open design allows for fast changeovers and quick and easy decontamination of all exposed surfaces.

Combi stainless and washdown systems are more than just a trade out for stainless steel parts and frame members. Our standard equipment specifications meet and exceed the most rigorous requirements for washdown environments at some of the largest food companies.

  • All exposed parts are either stainless steel or anodized aluminum
  • All bearings are sealed
  • All exposed shafting is hardened stainless steel
  • All motors are approved for washdown environments
  • All exposed acme thread is stainless steel
  • All pneumatic cylinders are anodized aluminum or stainless steel
  • All tabletop chain is washdown approved
  • All electrical enclosures are NEMA 4x compliant (plastic or stainless)
  • All pneumatic components are washdown approved including valve banks, Piab venturi, and include a coalescing filter to eliminate moisture in the air supply

Your Product, Our Solution

The key to our superior washdown systems is our framework which is a one piece welded tubular steel structure. Our stainless frames start with 3/16" or 1/4" grade 304 stainless steel tubing. All frame holes are plug welded or capped and all seams are continuously welded at every junction and ground flush, greatly reducing the areas where contamination could hide.
