The Client / Product

Meat products packed inside tuck-fold corrugated cartons.  Carton sizes from 3¾x5¾x2-1/8" to 12x9-5/8x3-1/8"

The Challenge

The customer came to Combi with the need to provide a fully automatic case sealing solution in a washdown environment.  They tried to automate this process previously with another company's product, but their efforts proved unsuccessful because the tape leg that they tried to apply caused multiple cases to stick together during stacking. 

The Solution

  • Meat packing equipment made with stainless steel, L-Clip bottom sealer with stainless steel framework and NEMA 4 electrical components
  • The meat packing machinery regularly withstands direct water spray contact.
