Combi Launches Virtual Tradeshow

In lieu of in-person tradeshows, to ensure safety for our guests and employees, Combi has developed an online tradeshow experience. Our new virtual tradeshow booth is now open to the public.

The online tradeshow booth allows visitors to view our latest machinery from various angles. See our new innovations for packaging, including a first in the industry – a hand-packing station with partitions to provide social distancing.

Three New Packaging Options
Combi has three new packaging options available now and featured in the booth.

• EZ Pal Robotic Palletizer The EZ Pal’s robotic palletizing capabilities improve end-of-line efficiency by freeing up operators for other work. A standalone palletizing cell that can be moved with just a forklift, the EZ Pal can be used on multiple lines. 

• TS 40G Tray Former This high speed tray former powers through up to 40 trays per minute, allowing you to increase the rate of tray production while occupying a smaller footprint. The 40G uses four-corner glue construction for forming trays with a perfect shape every time.
   
• 2-EZ® IL 16 Inline Case Erector With an extensive case range and compact footprint, the 2-EZ® IL 16 uses inline case flow, allowing for multiple lines. It can be installed flat against a wall, saving valuable floorspace.

New Social Distancing Option
Combi is the first to design a hand packing station for end-of-line packaging systems that includes clear, polycarbonate partitions to separate workers. This new hand packing station option is also available as part of the sanitary line. The sanitary line was developed using sloped and open surfaces, coupled with stainless steel, to allow easier washdown and reduce areas that could harbor bacteria.

The Next Gen RCE Line
Robotics enables efficiency in end-of-line packaging solutions. Combi has developed the Robotic Random Case Erector (RCE), which combines a six-axis robot with a flexible end-of-arm tool that can erect different box sizes at random.

3M™ AccuGlide™ V HSP
The virtual tradeshow booth also showcases the new 3M™ AccuGlide™ V HSP. This taping head offers high-speed production and is an important component in Combi case sealers and erectors.
